White on White

Throughout these hot summer months (the weather app predicted 102 today), I constantly find myself gravitating towards the white section of my closet.  To me there is nothing that screams summer like an all white outfit.  Whether its a breezy dress, white shorts and a tee or blouse, or (weather permitting) white jeans – I love it all.  I have convinced myself that maybe, just maybe, I won’t attract the sun or drip in sweat as much if I am wearing white instead of something dark.  Last summer at work one of my coworkers told me (when I wasn’t wearing lots of white) that she thought I only wore all white…ummm guilty??

When wearing or buying white pieces, I love to find things that have detail.  Whether its a great silhouette or a fun texture.  Currently I’ve got my eye on a longgg list of pretty things in the white department…

Blouses: Joie’s Felix scalloped top (this will be mine by summers end), James Perse Mesh sweater (need, need, need), J.Crew breezy gauze top (great with white jeans or shorts)

Dresses/Skirts: Anthropologie Desert Hills Slip Dress (love the details on this one),  Dolce Vita Valentina Lace Dress (so pretty), ASOS Crochet Hem Pencil Skirt (um, can you say, cool), Anna Sui Eyelet Mini Dress (on sale!)

See what I mean?? Can’t seem to get enough of anything and everything white!

Love white for any season! Been seeing more white on white and it's just amazing! Especially loving the last photo with the knit sweater and skirt. <3

I love this classic look. The camel tote with the all white above is perfect!

I love white in the hot summer months as well and I especially love being able to transition to a softer, not as stark alternative like cream for winter. Perfect neutral color!
