Annddd we’re back again with our favorites from the Nordy’s annual Anniversary Sale, but this time we’re talking about clothes. More than anything we found so many pretty blouses that both of us would love to add to our closets. I truly feel like you can never have enough pretty blouses for the fall. They are so versatile and can be easily dressed up or down and double as work wear as well as something for a night out. I always feel like I am short on tops when the fall season rolls around!
Equipment’s signature blouse in this animal print is such a fun twist on a classic. I love how sheer it is and then length of it gives you plenty of options – tucked in, or tied up depending on the day. Both of us were literally drooling over the Elizabeth and James Chantel Leather Trimmed Blouse. I mean, just look at those detials – leather cuffs, people. Another great classic option was L’AGENCE’s Star Print - the teeny tiny stars are just perfect and the shirt would be a regular for fall (especially with some high-waisted jeans!). Lastly in the way of blouses and actually not on the sale, was this black Trouve Faux Leather Bib Top. The flowy style + the leather detailing are right up my alley. The short sleeves are great for the milder fall weather we have in Texas, too.
If I had to pick an absolute favorite from the clothing it would hands down be DVF’s Ahiga Bis Oversized Dolman Sweater. I would literally live in this all season long and pair it with everything from skinny pants to a short mini skirt. The hint of cashmere made it unbelievable soft and I loveed the back detail. I will probably be stalking this sweater for the next few months and then finally bite the bullet and purchase.
Yes, yes strangely enough we did find a pretty attractive North Face jacket while scouring the racks, the Caroluna Jacket. The jacket was so good looking in person and looked even better on. If you’re like me, you’re always wishing you owned something casual like this to throw on when its colder out for running to the gym or store. Some things (stretch pants and tennis shoes) just don’t look right in the colder months with a nicer wool coat, and this would absolutely fit the bill.
And then of course there were the accessories. Graphic and cozy scarves (who doesn’t love scarves?), tons of sunglasses, Rebecca Minkoff Python iPhone cases (loving the blue version), and killer fall bags by Pour la Victoire (I die for all things orange), Diane Von Furstenberg and Rebecca Minkoff. All in all I’d say the clothing selection had a little bit of everything and left me longing for cooler temperatures [and a bigger bank account]!

So many gorgeous choices, I need to get my butt to Nordstrom immediately!
That northface jacket is perfect for those moments. Without the pictures I would have been totally skeptical hearing those words, but I always feel silly is a nice coat and sneakers. The blouse is amaze, but, Sally I love you in the DVF sweater. You are adorable and I am enjoying following your shopping process. xo
I picked up that Trouve top myself…in fact, I blogged about my goodies today too! Your Nordstrom seems to be much more high end than the one we have in KC. Love all your picks! http://www.apparentlyobsessed.blogspot.com

I was so impressed with the apparel at the Nordstrom Anny Sale this year! Usually I go crazy in the Active, Shoes and Accessories departments, but this year I only bought items from tbd and BP. My absolute favorite is the Hinge foil coated sweater in rose gold. Fall uniform – check!

Love all your picks! That NorthFace jacket is so cute! So much better than a regular old sweatshirt. I am dying to get to Nordstroms to see all their goodies.

Wow, those are all pieces I would have never picked out, but they look great on! How fun was that day?!
I bought the DVF Ahiga Sweater in meringue a couple months ago at Nordstrom Rack and really need for it to not be 110 degrees outside so I can wear it! So worth it- you should totally get it! Also- AMAZING find on that Elizabeth and James blouse! #obsessed
See you girls Thursday! Can't wait!

I love the purple Kate Spade picture at the beginning of your post, but there's no mention of it/link to it! Was it at the anniversary sale??
The Elizabeth and James blouse and the Equipment animal print blouse are my favorites. Absolutely gorgeous. I especially love the leather detail on the E&J one. Please say you bought it!
