Well, the Tootsies Top Blogger event went down last Thursday night but I wanted to post the pictures I took and thought that it was better late than never to share…  Sister Sally and I have become fast friends with many of the local Dallas bloggers and we were to excited to support them in Tootsies’ first annual Dallas Top Blogger Award!  For those unfamiliar, Tootsies is a specialty retail store with locations in Dallas, Houston and Atlanta.  The store is like whoa.  

For the the award event, all nine contestants got to “shop” Tootsies for their ideal outfit then walk the “runway” and share how their chosen outfit reflects the style they exhibit on their blogs with on-stage interviews.  No – they didn’t get to keep the clothes – I asked. But they all did an amazing job and it was so fun to shop Tootsies incredible sale selection after the event!  Prior to the event voters went online to choose their fave blogger and the Top Blogger winner was announced at the end of the runway show… Jen Smith of Blank White Frames was awarded the title for 2012!  Shout out to all the bloggers:  Jaclyn, Krystal, Amy, Heather, Allison, Dora, Genniva, Devon, and Jen.

    I am a huge fan of your blog and I was just catching up on this post. I scrolled to the bottom and saw to my utter shock and delight… me! (Last photo of champagne/cell phone/ stud bracelet/ sparkly ring). Life = MADE! :) Hope to meet you all next time around! XO!

    Hi Kelly! I got the ring at Macy's several seasons ago but I've seen similar ones at BCBG, Nordstrom, and Forever 21 since then! Hope that helps! :)
