StyleSheet Love

Because Sally and I are not Dallas natives, I constantly find myself meeting new people that I am completely obsessed with.  Then I try to make these people my new best friend.  Not in a creepy, ‘stage 5 clinger’ kind of way, more of a “I genuinely really like you, I feel like we click, will you be my friend?” sort of way.  I consider it endearing desperation.  And it’s exactly how I felt when Sally and I first met Kristi and Scot Redman at the New For The Night party a few weeks ago…  They snapped our photos, we got to chat for a little bit, I went home and stalked their StyleSheet (their D Mag Dallas street-style/fashion column) and I just wanted to be their friend.  Sweetest couple with a natural talent for taking incredible photos… Who wouldn’t want to be their friend?!  The more we run into them, the more I love them and I now can’t let a full 24 hours go by without checking out StyleSheet.

Tonight Kristi and Scot are celebrating the one-year anniversary of StyleSheet.  And what a year it has been!  Dallas is lucky to have this pair capturing the city’s story of fashion – and what better way to toast to a first year than with a party hosted by Neiman Marcus and D Magazine?  So head over to CUSP at Northpark tonight… I’ll be the one harassing Kristi and Scot for photography advice and taking in all the well-dressed Dallasites.  I’m not from here so it’s still okay for me to be over-excited by the amount of style in this city
