There’s been a lot of fashion-ish action around this blog – so now that NYFW is officially over, let’s take a little breather with a tiny but awesome New York City apartment. Tiny because it is only a studio space 600 square-feet in size (!!!) and awesome mainly because it belongs to J.Crew’s senior knitwear designer, Olympia Bermann and was designed by her talented interior designer mother, Michelle Lloyd (of Lloyd Ralph Designs).
I have a major itch to give away/sell a lot of things in my apartment and start over almost completely to achieve a clean but well thought out, lightly-layered feel. More to come on interiors and un-satisfaction in this upcoming Monday’s Toast Talk. Today I’m just living vicariously through Olympia and her place. That desk situation… Sigh.
P.S. Olympia is a pretty wicked girl’s name – and so is Cannon (like the Cannon Lewis who is hosting our amazing giveaway!).
(Photos taken by Eric Striffler and found via Halcyon Style blog – I think Allison scanned the pages of Canadian House & Home – so happy she took the time to do so because I couldn’t find them anywhere online!)

what an amazing apartment – so much style in such a small place!! thanks for sharing.
Beautiful, what I would give to live in a space like this!
wow this apartment is gorgeous!! My apt is the same size but definitely does not look like that…haha (My excuse is that I rent, and so far I've moved every year I've been in NYC and just don't want to take the time to decorate and put things nicely if I'm just going to move again…oh the life of a renter!)
I'm loving that bathroom!
Love the decor in that apartment, esp the bedroom!
go for the glam
Stunning interiors! And awesome names!
She successfully made a teeny-tiny lackluster bathroom feel like a soothing spa. And that kitchen floor! Oh man.
That desk situation is drool-worthy. Also, that mirror.
that apartment is to die for!
I cannot believe that space is only 600 square feet! I'm so spoiled by big spacious apartments and homes in Miami, yikes.
