In preparation for this fall, we don’t want to completely make over our closets, but there are a few trends for 2012 that we definitely would like to hit on… This outfit rounds up the type of look we are “sprinting” towards as we outfit our wardrobe for the season!
We’ve always been lovers of gold and it’s happening this season in lots of big ways. Our nails will look like a million bucks with this mirrored chrome-like polish and a heavy metal Nixon watch will go with everything and is the perfect accessory to wear from day to night. Leather is our biggest lust for fall – we want it in big doses with jackets, as well as smaller accents in jewelry and blouses. Burgundy, ox blood, or bordeaux. Whatever your choice, “deep red” is one hue that is on everyone’s radar this season and we definitely want to tap into the trend… Is there anything sassier than a red heel? Yes, an ox blood red heel. Last but not least, the perfect pair of boyfriend jeans is an investment that can and will be worn year round. Don’t let the slouch fit fool you – they are extremely flattering and can be worn with virtually anything (like all of the above!).
