Ahh! It’s already our third day in New York. After arriving on Wednesday, we spent the afternoon running around the East Village and Soho… Meeting some of our most favorite companies (more to come on that!), grabbing a delicious lunch at The Smile, and stopping into a few local boutiques. It resulted in tired feet but was well worth it!
Thursday morning we had a date with Bradley at Normas to see if the rumors about their bacon were true… Happy to confirm that it’s the best we’ve ever had. Then we checked into the amazing Empire Hoteland finally got to hang out with the Swirl team! We could not possibly be in a better location for Fashion Week – the hotel is right off Columbus Circle and across from Lincoln Center. The Street Style? Incredible. So far we have spotted some impeccably dressed men and can’t wait to snap some shots of the creative outfits to share with you guys! We roamed the streets of West Village in the afternoon and got to meet up for some face time with Alicia, Tara, Julia, and Kiley at the adorable Buvette cafe (Alicia’s expert pick!). These girls are amazing… Aside from working with Swirl, the best part about being in the city is meeting so many blogger friends and companies face to face.
Thursday night = FNO. Sharing our experience with you later today!! It involves Oscar de la Renta singing. We have a very, very exciting Friday planned and will be hanging out at The Empire Hotel ELLE Lounge and runway shows. We have a feeling it’s going to be epic and we can’t wait for you all to follow along!
