Pink (and Red) Picks

As a teacher, it is pretty much obligatory to get into each and every holiday.  At least in my opinion   No one wants a grinchy teacher who can’t have a little fun on Halloween or throw at least a tiny touch of pink or red on their bodies for Valentine’s Day…right?  I am all about dressing for the affairs and not in that creepy appliqued sweater kind of way.  I think I get this from my mama – she always looks perfectly chic and put together for all holidays while still managing to look festive for the season at hand.  “I got it from my mama…”

In honor of today’s heart holiday, and one of my favorite holidays at that, I decided to gather a few of my favorite pink or red picks.  Some are even pink AND red.  One of the best color combinations if you ask me   I have had my eyes on J.Crew‘s Etta pumps ever since seeing Liz sport her two pairs, and can’t get enough of this pink version.  Hello. Awesome.  Did I mention that I also find it necessary to put on pink or red for our Valentine’s date nights, too?  Usually just in the form of a clutch, but these shoes would be quite a nice addition to my closet just for that purpose…
