With my boyfriend and pups living an hour away we only get to see each other on the weekends. Both of our week days tend to be so busy and with rush hour after work an hour drive can easily turn into two hours. So we have our little weekends and it works out perfect. Usually we switch off whether I go there or he comes here, but more often than not its me going over there. We’ve found that its mucchhh easier to pack up one human (me) for a weekend than a human and two dogs and allll their acoutraments for a weekend. The hardest part I have when I head his way is the packing. Rarely do we have set in stone plans for the weekend before I hop in the car to see him, so I never know if what I am packing will end up being appropriate for what we end up doing. Things can get quite tricky!
Last weekend, a fresh pair Old Navy jeans really did the trick in terms of versatility. These took me from day to night with ease and remained comfy and fitted all the while – quite the feat for a pair of jeans! I think what I love most about them is the wash – they are that perfect medium blue that I always seem to forget to add to my jean collection. Not too dark, but not so light that they seem super casual. The fit is also quite flattering and they didn’t stretch out or get baggy with all of their wear. A+ in my book. Anything that makes packing for our unplanned weekend events just a little bit easier is a friend to me.
On another note, I have been busy with the guest postings this week – be sure to check out Luella & June from Tuesday’s Style Notes post and my Agenda on Gadabout today. Cannot thank gal pals Bradley and Hanna enough for having me! #soblessed

Girl, you're killing it lately! Loving the hair… is it shorter? Oh and that Goyard tote…. MAJOR swoon.
I can't believe these are Old Navy jeans….they fit you both like a glove! I had a pair from there a while back and loved them….I think it's about time I give them another try!

What is the name of the wash of those jeans?? Thanks!
Totally understand where you are coming from! My boyfriend and I are 2.5 hours apart since I am in school. Packing is always a pain because we never have specific plans. When I saw the first picture in the post I thought to myself, "I have to get those jeans…" Come to find out they're from Old Navy?! Unbelievable. You would have never convinced me before this post!

Been a long time lover of the rockstar skinny jeans (i think i own 4 pairs!), but had never noticed this wash. Saw a $19 sale today and scooped up two pairs – this wash and one darker!
