It seems like a long time coming now that I have been meaning to get myself a pair of classic white Converse “Chucks”. Every time I told myself that I would run into a local store and grab a pair I got too tired or dare I say, “lazy”. So last night I finally resorted to Zappos (who doesn’t love free and fast shipping) and ordered myself my first pair of brand spanking new Chuck Taylors. My Jack Purcell Converse shoes that I actually bought before I went to Italy back in college have seen better days and are kind of yucky looking at this point. These new guys will make the perfect replacement, and just in time for summa summa summatime. Its always nice to have a few alternatives to sandals in the summer, no? Speaking of, Molly and I were just gifted pairs of Bensimon sneakers (the iconic French sneaker) by a darling friend in Dallas, and are both obsessed with them. Comfortable is an understatement. I came so close to getting these Sam Edelmans (after seeing them on cute Tuula Vintage) while placing my Converse order on Zappos last night…what do you think?
