Forty Five Ten

Around Here

Sunday, February 17, 2013 MBM

Starting Friday, it’s been such a great weekend!  Sweet Bailey outdid herself and sent a box full of Biscuit bedding goodness to me and Sally – both of us are completely obsessed with what she came up with for our respective rooms and can’t wait to share a full blown post soon.  A little bedroom dual since we have the same headboards… Here’s a sneak peek of what’s on my bed.  Kind of killer, if I do say so myself.

Saturday Sally and I got to spend the afternoon at the bridal shower in honor of Bradley.  I can’t believe she (and Miss Mary) will be a bride in ~90 days!  The T Room at Forty Five Ten was festive with the prettiest peonies in all shade of pink and delicious raspberry lemonade champagne… Sally and I voted and decided that the best part of the event (aside from being with great people) was the dessert: vanilla and m&m milkshakes and chocolate chip cookies from Great One Cookies.  I could have had six of them the combination was soon good.

I finally managed to snap a picture of the simple and inspired wrapping that came with my Imogene + Willie package, I spent much of last night and this afternoon eating left-over Valentine’s Day candy (lucky for me, the sister gave up candy for Lent!) and getting things done on my list… My favorite sweet treat from Sally’s loot: the Microchip Cookies by JK Gourmet… Cookie dough surrounds a single chocolate chip to make for a crispy and delish itty bitty morsel.  Even cuter is the little jar they come in.  Thanks to a Valentine’s package from our mom, I’ve been flipping though Kate Spade’s Things We Love book.  It’s all you would imagine and more from 20 years of ksny history :)  Above are just two of my favorite spreads (thus far).
