Did you all have a good weekend? Sally and I got introduced to a new-to-us make-up and skincare line on Friday and we’re so in love we have to share… Chantecaille is a company founded on the use of natural botanicals, research innovation, and the practice of old-school traditions. Founded by Sylvie Chantecaille in 1997, the line features serious skincare and natural makeup with a deep connection to endangered animals and the environment. Sylvie’s daughters Olivia and Alex are vital parts of the company – a true family effort (and our favorite part of the company’s history!). The Neiman Marcus in Fort Worth hosted Alex and Chantecaille’s specialists for an afternoon dedicated to learning about and experiencing the products. We’ll be sharing what we took home soon… In the meantime, check out their “Save the Sharks” pallet – Chantecaille’s environmental project for 2013.
Saturday I ran errands and spent the evening babysitting adorable sisters while Sally baked birthday cake and went to a concert. Today we headed to Klyde Warren Park so the pups could hit up the dog park and we could visit the food trucks. The weather was perfect and the puppy and people watching was amazing. Those little Frenchies above didn’t know each other but both were named Butter. Pretty amazing. We capped off the day with slices of famous chocolate birthday cake and a little bit of napping. Not ready for Monday after such a nice weekend…
