This post was supposed to publish yesterday but… You know… Life happened. So you’re getting it this morning and a Toast Talk post will be up later in the afternoon! I had a really pretty relaxed weekend that mostly involved napping, eating, reading, and cleaning – all the important things I try to do over the course of Saturday and Sunday. Making pancakes has become the go-to Saturday morning routine for me and my guy and we made fancy blueberry ones this time. They were insanely good. And yes, that is Mrs. Butterworth syrup you see in the background – we do things full-fat and classy around here. I got to pull out my “perfect” green shirt for St. Patrick’s Day celebrating… I found it this time last year from Madewell and it’s the perfect mix of casual and dressy and between mint and kelly green – I lurve it and it’s black buttons make it. Yesterday I did something I never do and bought fresh blooms for the apartment. I’m notorious for killing flowers so we we’ll see how long these beauties last… I was pretty impressed with my amateur arranging skills! What was the special occasion for flowers? Well we had a fun little shooting session with the darling and talented Kelsey Foster. More to come on that soon!!
In between devouring chapters of The Night Circus (so, so good) Sally and I started pinning to the a new pin board we’re “guest editing” for our favorite New York boutique – OTTE! We hope you’ll follow along to see the spring and summer-time inspiration that catches our eyes… Beauty, lifestyle, interiors, the lovely outdoors, and of course lots of style and fashion (including favorite picks from OTTE’s online shop) are all there now with much more to come! Check it out.
Oh, and we’re wishing a happiest birthday to our dear Dad today!
