If there is one color that I almost never wear nor buy, its red.  If anything, I stray from it.  I can count the red tops I have hanging in my closet on one finger.  For some reason, I have always been a little bit intimidated of wearing the color.  With my paler skin and light blonde hair, red has always seemed so harsh.  Lately though, I have been drawn to images like those above of pretty blondes sporting bright reds in all forms.  When I actually think about it, the bright hue is a classic and chic color that can often times play as a neutral.  One of my favorite color combinations is that of a cherry red and a pale, sky blue.  I’ve never worn the combination, but that hasn’t stopped me from finding it visually pleasing:)  I have decided with spring here and summer approaching that I am going to do my very best to embrace this color in all its glory.  First up on my list is to scoop up a comfy red dress that I can throw up with some flat sandals to run around in.  ASOS has a bagillion red dresses to choose from and I think that this one is my favorite.  So cute with a pair of sandals or even my new converse.  I would also love to get these ballerinas come fall – they’re kind of perfect, no?  Lastly, a red blazer to pair with white jeans or some scalloped shorts (like these!), and I will be a red convert:)
